In 1973 my wife brought a wooden planter
home. She paid $40 for it. I thought to myself
that I can make this, so I went to Sears and Roebuck and
charged a table saw, router, and sander and made and sold
1200 of them in 6 months. I was looking at my kitchen
and thought, "Hey, I could build that". So, I went
down in my basement and built one. I then built one
for several neighbors. And after retiring from my job
as a police officer of 21 years, I went into the business
full time. Since hiring Justin Parker, the shop's
guru, we have become one of the best cabinet shops in
Northern Alabama.
